Now that I’m working toward recording an album, I’ve decided to finally upgrade my gear. I’ve chosen the M-Audio ProFire 610 audio interface, the KRK Rokit RP6 G2 monitors, the Denon AH-D2000 headphones, the Shure SM7B microphone and the Grace Design m101 preamp.
I took a break from the site to finish a potential album cover. This is a tree outside of my Uncles house. I took the picture in 2005 on a cheap cameraphone and messed with it in Photoshop until I got a sort of fire/cellophane look. It wasn’t until this week that I decided to finish the design and add a background. One of my favorite photos is a beautiful ultraviolet image of the sun by NASA which fit perfectly with the design after some tweaks. Here is the finished product… [link]
My first foray into proper site building is online and nearly finished. All that’s left is to get the blog up and running, so here I am.
